About this property

Having been in hundreds of homes, I can tell you the quality of this build is among the highest I have seen. At 343 sq m, the home is luxuriously spacious with careful thought given to the privacy and comfort of the entire household, but most importantly, the masters of this very special residence. The primary suite is sympathetically separated from guest accommodations, with its own private sitting room, spacious dressing room and a luxurious ensuite that simply cannot be beaten. At the other end of the home, family and guests are amply provided for in the same luxury, with all bedrooms having external patio access and the same extraordinary view. The kitchen is beyond expectation, a culinary masterpiece – equally well suited for family dinners and extravagant gatherings with granite countertops, extensive storage and high-end appliances. Multiple living and dining areas around the home allow for quiet relaxations as much as larger soiree’s. Adjacent to the home, a fully lined and double-glazed studio with bathroom presents a wonderful option for overflow of guests, as well a perfect work from home space. Storage is exceptional! You’ll be hard pressed to fill every cupboard in this lovely residence. Around the home has been beautifully landscaped by the late John Gosney, while the adjacent hillside has been tended and planted with a variety of fruits and nuts. The balance of the land, the paddock block is fully deer fenced, ideal for the family goat or a few sheep. Less than 10 minutes to the heart of Nelson City, it is supremely convenient yet offers a country lifestyle that is peaceful, private and atop the ridgeline, has remarkable views out to the Tasman Bay.
